Emergency road closure – birchwood drive, wilmington
it will be necessary to close Birchwood drive, Wilmington from 16th February 2026 for up to 15 days. The road will be closed from the junction of silver Birch Close, for 10 metres into Birchwood Drive. There is no alternative route. Every effort will be made to maintain access for residents whenever it is safe to do so. The purpose of this work is to carry out drainage repairs.

The closure is required by UK Power Networks to carry out immediate repairs to an electrical link box

Temporary prohibition of Driving
Kent County Council gives notice that Church Hill Wilmington will be closed to through traffic on or after 7th November 2025 for up to one day.
The road will be closed from the junction of Hawley Road for up to 100 M up Church Hill
The alternative route is via B258 High Road, B258 Barn End, B258 Main Road, , B258 Swanley Lane, B258 High Street Swanley, B2173 London Road, A20 London Road, A225 Dartford Road, A225 Main Road, A225 Hawley Road
It is planned that the road will be closed between 19:00 hrs and 06:00 hrs each day
This closure is necessary to enable pothole patching to be carried out by Kent County Council
